Post date: May 01, 2011 5:53:31 PM

In May we are fortunate in having Bill Currie, celebrated inventor coming to talk to the club. Based In Croydon, Bill is a locksmith by trade, but in addition to inventing tools for this trade his expertise covers a wide range including the Trappit (a gadget for trapping a bug – and not despatching it!) to running invention events for children in schools. Bill was named British Inventor of the year (2008) by the British Inventors Society, has appeared on the BBC One Show, and developed aids to help the disabled.
